More Info About this Website - This website was conceived and designed by its author to foster awarness of Flag Day in general and the local Kiwanis-Sunnyside Flag Day Parade in particular which has become a long standing tradition in the Sunnyside Queens community of New York City. While this website features the local Kiwanis Club of Sunnyside sponsored Flag Day parade, this website is not an official website of the Kiwanis Club of Sunnyside, nor of Kiwanis International. To contact the sponsors of this parade, the parade chairman, or the author/designer-developer of this website use the contact page and make the appropriate selection (webmaster or parade charaiman) when subnmitting an email, or use the link to the official Kiwanis-Sunnyside website for contacting kiwanis-Sunnyside directly. Browser Requirements - This website has been tested with the most current and popular browsers on both the PC and Mac platforms and conforms to current W3C standards (the W3C is an international standards organization and consortium involved in all aspects of the Internet and the information technology industry). iPad Compatibility and other Tablet Devices - As of April 28th, 2011, this website is completely iPad compatible: Visitors using Apple's iPad I, iPad II, or iPad III ("The New iPAD") will be able to view all content and video using the Safari browser that comes as part of the Apple iPad.

Technical Stuff Connection Requirements - A broadband connection such as Cable, DSL, or other high-speed type connection is required. Please note that while dial-up connections may work to display the website, a dial-up connection will not properly display video from this website. Contact your telecommunications service provider if you have questions about your Internet connection speed. Computer / Monitor Resolution - Computer processor speeds of at leat 1.5 Ghz should provide minimally satisfactory performance - faster processor speeds will result is significant performance improvement. This website is viewable on Windows PCs, Macs, and Linux with a screen resolution of 1024 (width) x 768 (height) or better. Smaller screen resolutions can be used, but significant scrolling will be required.
Video Playback Issues - Internet Video is very sensitive to a number of factors: Your computer's graphic card, processor speed and memory, hard drive speed, and Internert connection speed all affect video response and quality. If you experience jerky or intermittent video it may be caused by a slow video card, slow processor, slow connection or a combination of these. It's always best that your computer's graphics card has the latest drivers: check your graphics card manufacturer's website for the latest drivers for your particular video card. If you experience jerky video in general on a consistent basis you should consider upgrading one or more components of your system and/or ensuring your broadband Internet connection is functioning properly and provides the stated bandwidth.
